Logan County
'Logan County was named for Gen. John A. Logan, and was organized April 17, 1884. At one time it
formed a part of the territorial county of Buffalo, its boundaries being changed in 1883 to their present
form. The county is entirely agricultural. Napoleon is the county seat.' Source: North Dakota Blue Book -- 1942
